1 Million F-150 Models with EcoBoost Engines Sold

In June, Ford announced that it has sold more than 1 million F-150 pickup trucks with EcoBoost engines.

Despite all of its V8 competitors, the EcoBoost has proven it can hold its own on the road and has becomes a popular engine choice for Ford.


Though its initial introduction in 2010 was rocky, the EcoBoost continues to show customers that you can have power as well as great fuel-economy.

The Ford F-150 Takes Over Twitter

Not only has Ford dominated the road, it is now dominating social media. In June, Ford’s legendary F-150 beat out all other pickups in Twitter engagement. This news comes after Chevrolet’s recent ad campaign questioning the toughness and durability of the F-150’s aluminum bed.

The top five pickups in Twitter engagement are 1.) Ford F-150, 2.) Ram 1500, 3.) Toyota Tacoma, 4.) Toyota Tundra, and 5.) Ram 2500. Ironically, Chevrolet’s Silverado didn’t make the list.
